This was followed one week later by his being classified "A" by the same Medical Board on the 17th

joining his unit on November 2nd

(1871 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, affixed to zink backplate with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 28. 98 mm in diameter, the reverse is missing its catch, in overall better than very fine condition.
