2017 Abadia Retuerta Seleccion Especial Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon, Sardon de Duero, Spain (750 mL) 2022 salted lemon wedge and aWINEMAKER'S NOTE: Dark red color with a clean, complex and fresh nose. On the palate, it has an intense fruity touch, mainly of red fruits. Aged in French and American oak barrels, the wood infuses notes of cedar, pastry and dark roasting. TASTING NOTE: 2017 and 2018 were very different years in the Duero, but at Abada Retuerta, the killer frost from 2017 barely touched the vines. The 2018 Seleccin Especial is concentrated from the low yields and ripe
