Saxe-Coburg And Gotha, Duchy. A Service Medal, Bronze Grade, C.1916 Newly Listed centre in silver gilt with(Verdienstmedaille in Bronze). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a rightward facing profile of Duke Carl Eduard, circumscribed by name and title and topped by a royal crown, the reverse with the Saxe Coburg and Gotha coat of arms topped by inscription of FUER VERDIENST (FOR SERVICE), measuring 32 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
