The long drooping raceme sporting fragrant pea like flowers that can be white, pink, or purple, and attract bees and butterflies in droves. Flat brown seedpods that can be fuzzy (Asian) or smooth (American) follow the flowers. Blooms best in full sun and well drained soil.
