Discovered in 2006 near Winton, Queensland, this dinosaur has become a symbol of Australian palaeontology due to its importance in understanding the Cretaceous fauna of Gondwana. Nicknamed "the Cretaceous cheetah", Australovenator was an agile and efficient predator, known for its
