1883 Ad Ellis's Spavin Cure Lame Horse Equine Farming - ORIGINAL GROC1 XGX6 to February 9This is an ultra rare small original 1883 black and white print ad for Ellis's Spavin Cure Company of Boston, Massachusetts. The ad writes, "The most remarkable remedy of the age. The only preparation that will cure spavin" Interestingly enough, the term 'cure' became very popular on the glass bottles from the 1860s to the early 1900s. The bottles have become highly collectible. Portrayed in this advertisement is the bottle of the cure. This is one of
