This is an original 1894 halftone print showing the fountain in the French Court. The French building was one of the most beautiful of the fair. The French Renaissance style was used on both pavilions which were connected from the rear by a semicircular colonnade. This made for a great place for visitors to lounge and enjoy the outdoors. (Please note that, typical of halftone prints, there is printing on the reverse.) Period
