It is a design by Lotte de Raadt for the design label Vij5. The unglazed stoneware absorbs water, which then evaporates. This evaporation cools the water in the bottle. These carafes are handcrafted by the designer herself in her own workshop. Lotte de Raadt wants to encourage the use of tap water with the Tap Water Carafe. Dutch tap water is of top quality. It is 2000 times cheaper than
