Germany, Wehrmacht. A General Assault Badge Buy Now trimmed in Luftwaffe gray-blue wool(Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen). Constructed silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 96 mm (w) x 54. 02 mm (h), weighing 29. 4 grams, with loss of silver finish evident, in very fine condition.
