El Cernícalo Primilla 2019 DO Valdeorras Ondarea is a very balanced100% Palomino Fino from 0. 8 hectares of Pago de Maina, one of the best vineyards in the area, 5 km from the Atlantic Ocean. The vines are 80 years old and located at an altitude of 65 to 75 metres above sea level on a south facing slope. This uses free run juice from the first pressing, resulting in a yield of 31 hectolitres per hectare. 2019 was a year with a dry spring and a relatively cool summer. The grapes ripened very gradually and were healthy
