Autograph letter signed, 1 page written in English on the first page of a folded 4 page document, most likely written in 1844 at a time when he was visiting the United States. In this letter, he mentions the composition "The Falls of Niagara". Size of each page is 7. 75 x 9. 5 inches, small creases and tears on several edges, but otherwise in good condition.
