The green background is made of velvet paper. The red letters are raised. The advertising cardboard has a cardboard backing on the back. It dates from the 1950s. Gerondeau fabrics were renowned in the 1950s and they offered exclusive fabrics like woolens, cottons and cotton velvets. Gerondeau fabrics were found at 23 rue d'Antin in the 2nd arrondissement of
