Our selection was the best performing seedling from a cross by gesneriad expert John Farina, of Sinningia conspicua, Sinningia eumorpha, and Sinningia 'Seminole'. Sinningia 'Pink Pockets' forms a deciduous 10" tall x 2' wide clumper composed of oval, hairy, green, hand sized leaves, attached with red purple
