At first impression this wine is WOW!!an aromatic avalanche containing brooding, yet bright, head spinning aromas of blackberry compote, black raspberries, cherry liqueur, black currant in cream, brambly plums and pencil lead. Subtler aromas of tobacco, dark Asian spices, dark mocha, and toasted nuts add yet another dimension of complexity.
