Hosta 'Eagles Nest' forms very thick, cupped green leaves, each surrounded by a wide golden border. From the "feel" of the foliage, smaller stature, and slower growth rate, I suspect this is a tetraploid. The smaller than normal, 3' wide clump is topped in late summer with 2' tall scapes of light lavender flowers. I think you are going to really like this one.
